Studio Work
Concetta has worked for over a decade as a studio musician writing arrangements and recording music for a number of notable bands and ensembles. She is equipped for in studio as well as remote recording. As both a violinist and a violist she can cover an entire string section giving a live orchestra feel.
Concetta composed original string arrangements for Mutual Benefit's album "Growing at the Edges" released on Transgressive Records. She recorded violin, viola, voice and mandolin for the album.
“The florid accompaniments of Mutual Benefit’s previous records carry over, but Growing at the
Edges bears a much more pronounced imprint of jazz and classical, in no small degree due to the
input of multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Birnbaum and violinist/string arranger Concetta Abbate.”

“I couldn't be happier, the record turned out great! I am so glad Concetta was available to lend her talents to this.”
